Whether right here at Brandlalm or in the surrounding region – there’s always something to discover.
No matter if the sky is filled with sun rays or snowflakes: every season has its own ways of slowing down and enjoying your surroundings. From peaceful walks to regional delights, from warm summer evenings to cozy winter moments – this is your place to reconnect.
In the warmer months, Brandlalm is the perfect base for a wide range of nature-based activities. Well-marked hiking trails and biking routes start directly at the resort. Whether you prefer a gentle walk or a long mountain tour – there’s something for every pace.
Guests can also enjoy guided herb walks, try their luck fishing in nearby waters, or experience hunting in the surrounding forests (upon request and with local partners). Wildlife observation is possible right from your terrace or during early-morning walks around the resort. At night, the clear mountain sky is perfect for stargazing. And if you're seeking calm and balance, the yoga platforms invites you to stretch, breathe, and take in the view.

When the snow settles on the meadows and forests, Brandlalm transforms into a peaceful winter escape. Guests can head out on snowshoe hikes through untouched landscapes, go ski touring in the mountains, or enjoy sledging through the forest.
For those seeking a special kind of refreshment, ice plunges are available – ideally after warming up in your private infrared cabin or outdoor whirlpool. Whether you’re out in the snow or wrapped in a blanket by the fire: winter at Brandlalm offers space for movement, stillness and everything in between.

Aman Iman - Water is Life
The private natural pond offers a soothing wellness experience out in the fresh mountain air. Enjoy the view of the valley while cooling off after the sauna and relax on the wooden deck.
Public Observation Deck at the Bernsteier Ofen
One of the highlights at Brandlalm is a spectacular observation deck directly at the Bernsteiner Ofen, which was built on a ledge 1.447 meters above sea level. The view extends over the Lavant Valley to the Karawanken, the Steiner Alps and the Dobratsch. On nice days, the view stretches as far as Lake Wörthersee and the Grossglockner. A 1km long adventure trail runs around the observation deck.
Breathe, move, connect
Surrounded by forests and mountain views, our yoga platforms offer space for mindful movement and deep relaxation. Whether you prefer to practise alone at sunrise or in the stillness of the evening – nature becomes your studio.
Private yoga sessions with a certified teacher can be arranged on request.
